I once pulled out what I thought were chicken shnitzels and left them to defrost for Shabbat lunch, only to discover that they were uncooked chicken shnitzels - when once I got bored half way through frying them and my neighbour told me to freeze them like that... oooops.

DeleteNext time just coat a baking pan with oil, and bake them instead of pan frying!
I REALLY try to label things when I put them in, and if chicken is raw, I write in big letters, multiple times, RAW all over the package!
