Cyber Monday Deals

This post contains affiliate links. This means that if you click on a link and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you! Thanks for your support!

Even in Israel, everyone's been abuzz with sales. And who can resist buying some things you need, and paying less?

So besides all my posts on Facebook (go check out my groups: Israel Deals Made Easy and Live in Israel. Shop Online, and my new public group, Kosher Frugal), I figured I would share some of my favorite Cyber Monday deals that are available on Amazon with free shipping to Israel. So here goes:

Kindle International Edition for over 30% off the regular price!

Tons of party games, like Exploding Kittens and Incohearant (30% off)

Craft Kits - Bracelet making kits, an Origami kit (60% off!)

There are lots more to be found but I'm being called away! Sorry!

And lately, my orders have, for the most part, arrived well ahead of schedule - they seem to be building in a lot of extra delivery time to cover worst-case scenarios, but most packages arrive much faster.

Amazon's prices change frequently but they're really great about letting you know if an item in your cart has changed price - so if you found one and deliberated about it, you'll know if something changed when you decide to complete your purchase.

Sometimes free shipping offers disappear, so please check carefully before you order. Just remember - you can avoid VAT and other import fees by staying below the $75 tax threshold for any single order! If you do go over, as you will if you're buying a computer, you will see exactly what you'll pay in taxes at checkout. I only do this if I'm actually buying a product that costs more than $75. And I don't add any other small things to these orders, because once you're over, you're over and you'll pay fees on the entire order.

For smaller purchases, I place separate orders that each total under $75.

If you're in the USA and buying a gift for someone in Israel, please follow those guidelines, too - or be prepared to prepay all taxes and fees. You'll see them before you checkout, so don't worry about surprises. You will need to enter the recipient's ID number at checkout too, so the package can clear customs.

Hope you found this helpful! If yes, be sure to find me on Facebook and join my shopping groups (here and here)!

25% off everything at iHerb!

This post contains affiliate or referral links. This means if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!

iHerb is one of my favorite ways to find products that I can't get in Israel. Or products that may be available in Israel, but at inflated prices.

Right now, there's this sale: 25% off SITEWIDE! CLICK HERE to load the discount into your cart.

If it doesn't load automatically, enter code QEJ101 first and then promo code BFCM25 to get the discount (one time per customer - so try to get your order in all at once)! And remember, code QEJ101 will always get you at least 5% off most items on the site!

(code 22DOUBLE11 is valid until November 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM PT)

Need some ideas for your iHerb order?

Here are just a few things I recommend - several of these are eligible for the extra discount! I'd love to hear what your favorites are:

Teas

Lip balm

Specialty sea salt grinders

Witch Hazel Toner

Concentrated Laundry Detergent

Unscented Compostable Dryer Sheets

Witch Hazel Cleansing Pads

Stridex acne control pads

Cocoa Butter Lotion

Dental Floss

Pain Relief Cream (the athletes in my house like this one a lot)

Makeup Remover

Aquaphor

Maple Syrup Granules

Made Good Granola Bars

Cheddar Cheese Powder

Your order of $60 and up will usually qualify for FREE Global Air Locker shipping!

Don't forget these important, basic principles of shopping online from Israel:

  • Keep your order under $75 to avoid paying VAT!!
  • Spread out your orders. If you want to buy more than $75 worth of items from one website, and you have the option of splitting your order - DO IT. BUT don't order more than $75 worth on any given day to the same shipping name/address/ID. If you do, customs may combine your orders and charge you. Give it about 3 days between orders. Best to ship to a different name using a different ID for customs, so you can order it all on the same day.
  • Always look for the free shipping option - usually it's to a pickup spot.

I was so excited when my order came to $74.64 after the discount was applied, and with free delivery! Talk about maximizing savings while avoiding import taxes! I hope you're just as successful!

Enjoy and happy savings!

Dance Supplies we buy from Amazon!

This post contains affiliate links, so if you click on a link and make a purchase,
I may receive a small commission. Thank you!

Dance. It's an expensive hobby once you get into the competition scene. Our girls have reached that stage where we're spending way more money on their dancing than we ever imagined we would.

Some things we buy online. For example, special bandages and blister treatments!

My dancer daughters can't live without these Second Skin bandages! They are amazing protection for sensitive spots in her pointe shoes.

The other item we routinely buy is Nexcare Blister Prevention Tape. This stuff is amazing. And so much cheaper on Amazon. And SO worth buying!

Check them out! Happy Savings!

Get Paid for Surveys in Israel!

This post contains affiliate and referral links. I may be compensated in some way if you click a link and register or make a purchase. Thanks in advance for your support!

Back in the old days before we came back to Israel, I often answered online surveys, and I'd be paid pocket change ($3-$5 per survey) via PayPal. It was an easy way to pad my budget - and I really missed that after making aliyah! I had thought that was all just part of my old life - and obviously, I am no longer eligible to answer US based surveys. But then I discovered that it doesn't mean I can't still get some extra cash here, as there are survey sites here as well!

Click to go to Panel4All!
Click to go to Panel4All!

First, signed up for Panel4All a while back, and so can you. This site works differently than what I had gotten used to before I made aliyah - they don't pay in cash. Instead, participants earn points that can be cashed out for gift cards. Depending on your demographics, you'll be invited to answer different surveys. I usually get several emails a week about surveys and when I have 5 minutes, I answer them. Sometimes the surveys close out before I get around to answering though, so don't be surprised if that happens from time to time.

I've added a few more survey sites to my repertoire, and I figured some of you out there may want to use them to earn some side-money, too! I've checked out a number of different ones, and this list includes sites that are specifically for Israel, as well as international ones. Check them out, too!

iPanel  --
you'll have to answer a long survey to complete your registration, but then you'll be able to start earning credits toward a gift card!

Midgam Panel -- this site pays out via Paypal or gift cards, you'll be able to choose what's better for you when the time comes. Paypal seems to charge fees for this, so I prefer the gift card option.

SekerNet -- this site pays via check or bank transfer when you reach the minimun payout threshold of 55nis.

PanelView - this site has some ability to function in English - mine defaulted to English once I answered the survey and told them my first language is English!

MoBrog - this site is in English, but I'm not sure if all the surveys will be in English. Definitely worth checking out!

I'm also a member of "MySeker", and they do email referrals. Please drop me a note at ester@kosherfrugal.com and I'll send you a link to join!

I hope you found this list helpful - I know some people use survey sites as their "side hustle" successfully, and I hope you can too!

Feel free to share this list with others who may want to make some side income answering short surveys!
