Household Essentials - Exclusive Savings inside

this post contains affiliate links. If you make a purchase using one of my links, I may receive a small commission, but it won't cost you extra!

Shopping in Israel may have just gotten a little bit less expensive with these EXCLUSIVE discounts I'm excited to bring to you today!

Coffee Lovers - get a great price on coffee beans when you stock up from KSP with my link - my link will get you 30% off the list price on 4 varieties of the Italian coffee brand San Martino:

Palermo (50/50), Modena (80/20), Top Quality (100% Arabica), Slow Roast (קלייה איטית 100% Arabica)

Prices vary by variety, but after the discount, some are as low as 61 NIS per KILO of coffee beans! This is a deal to grab if you make coffee at home (and I imagine if you're here, you're inclined to make coffee more than buy it at a coffee shop!)
Click here to shop and the discount will load into your cart.  Be sure to use this link in order to get the discount - it doesn't show up on the site without starting at this link -https://ksp.co.il/cat/16413-64723 !!

Laundry Essentials from Ariel and Lenor brands - some are on sale on the site without my link, HOWEVER, my link gets you an EXTRA discount (for example, Ariel gel detergent is currently on sale for 37 NIS/bottle but my link will give it to you for 32 NIS/bottle - you'll see the extra discount in your cart)!

KSP offers free pickup at your nearest store, 10 NIS delivery to a locker location, or 28 NIS delivery to your door. Just FYI this website only opens if you're using an Israel-based IP address.

These deals are only available using these links - they do not appear on the website but will load in your cart when you start shopping here. Discounts are valid through Jan 31 or while supplies last.

I am not responsible for pricing errors or anything on the website the links take you to. I do not work for them, I just share deals!

Getting Travel Ready? Save Some Money!

This post contains affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission.

Shoppers in Israel, and many other non-US locations, this is for you! If you're getting ready to travel, you might have noticed that it's not always easy to find travel size products here. It was always pretty easy in the USA when I lived there (though it's been a while), so I was checking for options from there that ship here.

And guess what? I found that the best deals are bulk deals - so either stock up for several trips at a time, or split this order with a friend or two!

I found these toothbrush/toothpaste packages, or ones that are similar and also have a flosser, and also little mouthwashes! These make traveling easy - I never want to get stuck without a toothbrush, you know?

If you want, you can even get Cetaphil face cleanser in travel size, and antiperspirant/deodorants for both men and women

OR, if you don't want to buy in bulk, you could choose this convenient 10-piece convenience kit for traveling, which has lots of essentials.

I also highly recommend you get lightweight luggage so you can maximize your packing space.

Let me know if this is helpful!

Feel free to share with anyone who might be interested!

Great deals for you!

this post contains affiliate links, so if you click on a link and then make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you.

Here are some great deals I just found:

If you need a food processor, check out this awesome sale:
3.9 L 1250W Bosch food processor, regular price 849 NIS, on sale now for 579 NIS!

Need a laptop for under 1000 NIS? Check out this Asus laptop deal

Here's a drip-filter 12-cup coffee maker (for those of us who think capsules are pods produce too much waste!) for under 100 NIS

Here's a set of 2 fridge odor absorbers for 28 NIS instead of 34!

Thermoses in all sizes are on sale right now, too! Some of them are really large - 8 liters! These are great!

Things to keep in mind when you shop at KSP: Shipping will be free if you meet the minimum order amount. If you don't, you can choose a store near you for pickup to avoid shipping fees. These items ship from within Israel, so you'll never be hit with a surprise tax or import fee!

Early black Friday clothing deals

this post contains affiliate links, so if you click on a link and then make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you.

I've got a shopping list for Black Friday - things we planned to buy but were not so urgent that we weren't able to wait for a sale.

So now it seems like a good time to start deciding what I'm actually buying - the sales have begun!

Starting with the clothing requests, my "guys" still prefer American style pants over the more common European style worn here. So I found Pleated khakis in a very wide range of sizes on sale now! Definitely time to stock up.

We're also looking at this Sherpa-lined sweatshirt (these run a bit smaller than expected, in case you were wondering, but proved to be a favorite when I last bought it, so now more people want one!)

Another thing I have to search for is shirts with an Oxford collar. I have managed to buy some at the mall in a bigger city, but the selection was not great. So it's on the online shopping list.

Wool-blend socks have been great for winters in Israel. If your toes are warm, your whole body is warmer. There are some great deals on kids' socks and adult socks. Get some for everyone!

Ok so I couldn't help but notice this, even though we don't need them. Some Gymboree dresses qualify for free shipping and discounts right now! These dresses last FOREVER. We still see our old Gymboree dresses around the neighborhood on little girls (they seem to go from one family to the next) and my girls are older teens now!

If I can, I'll try to post more deals over the next few days! Feel free to comment below or in my public shopping group on FB and let me know what you're looking for!

Deep discounts!

this post contains affiliate links. This means I may receive a small commission when you click on a link and make a purchase, but this will never cost you anything extra!

Rosh Hashana is around the corner, and in Israel that means every store is trying to get you to spend your shekels with them! So sales are everywhere!

You all know that I'm not a fan of just buying things for the sake of buying things - I've been really trying to only buy things we actively decide make sense to buy - that means NO impulse shopping!

And that means that when I do decide I need something, it's usually time to shop around and find the best quality I can afford for the best price I can find.

Ok so with that explanation out there, I just want to let you know about one of the awesome sales I found: you can get a whole lot of Soltam kitchen items for DEEP discounts AND free shipping. That's definitely one of my favorite kinds of sales - the kind where I don't have to do the heavy lifting.

Check out this sale HERE

screenshot of some of the sale items

The screenshot you see here is nowhere near all the items on sale! There are just SO many things for your kitchen with free shipping right now! Definitely time to buy if you were missing something.

One of my favorites in the selection is this pizza stone set. Check it out!

I'm a big fan of only buying things when there's a sale. I really don't recommend paying full price if you don't have to. It's just really no fun to watch the shekels flow right out of my bank account, ya know?

Do you need a particular item? I'd love to help you find it! Just join my shopping group on Facebook and post your request!

See you there!

Best Shopping Find of the Month?

You all know that I'm a price sensitive shopper.

And I'm definitely not opposed to stocking up if I find a great price on something we'll use.

You might feel the same, right?

So I thought I'd share what may be the best find of my month so far:

Yes, you read that right!

8 bottles of Carmel Selected Moscato wine (full-size bottles!) for just under 100 NIS! That includes the deposit (pikadon). Usually, we see this priced much higher - about 4/100 NIS.

This sale seems to have been available for a limited time on Rami Levy Online. I  guess I lucked out and was on their website when it went live, noticed it, and added them to my grocery order. It's since gone back up to about 25/bottle, but I wonder if they'll drop the price again soon!

And I checked the receipt when my order arrived, and I was, indeed, charged only 12.40 per bottle. So now we're good for our kiddush wine for a while! Maybe I should have ordered 12? I don't know - I didn't want to press my luck, so I went for 8.

I find that I can keep my grocery bill lower by placing an online order about once a month, and buying most of my fresh fruits and vegetables and other perishables at other stores I can easily get to. So it's very likely that had I not found this wine sale, I may have opted out of placing an online order this week and just waited until another time when I found a compelling sale.

Have you found any great deals?

What's your take on online shopping?

Cyber Monday Deals

This post contains affiliate links. This means that if you click on a link and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you! Thanks for your support!

Even in Israel, everyone's been abuzz with sales. And who can resist buying some things you need, and paying less?

So besides all my posts on Facebook (go check out my groups: Israel Deals Made Easy and Live in Israel. Shop Online, and my new public group, Kosher Frugal), I figured I would share some of my favorite Cyber Monday deals that are available on Amazon with free shipping to Israel. So here goes:

Kindle International Edition for over 30% off the regular price!

Tons of party games, like Exploding Kittens and Incohearant (30% off)

Craft Kits - Bracelet making kits, an Origami kit (60% off!)

There are lots more to be found but I'm being called away! Sorry!

And lately, my orders have, for the most part, arrived well ahead of schedule - they seem to be building in a lot of extra delivery time to cover worst-case scenarios, but most packages arrive much faster.

Amazon's prices change frequently but they're really great about letting you know if an item in your cart has changed price - so if you found one and deliberated about it, you'll know if something changed when you decide to complete your purchase.

Sometimes free shipping offers disappear, so please check carefully before you order. Just remember - you can avoid VAT and other import fees by staying below the $75 tax threshold for any single order! If you do go over, as you will if you're buying a computer, you will see exactly what you'll pay in taxes at checkout. I only do this if I'm actually buying a product that costs more than $75. And I don't add any other small things to these orders, because once you're over, you're over and you'll pay fees on the entire order.

For smaller purchases, I place separate orders that each total under $75.

If you're in the USA and buying a gift for someone in Israel, please follow those guidelines, too - or be prepared to prepay all taxes and fees. You'll see them before you checkout, so don't worry about surprises. You will need to enter the recipient's ID number at checkout too, so the package can clear customs.

Hope you found this helpful! If yes, be sure to find me on Facebook and join my shopping groups (here and here)!

Shop the sales! (Grocery savings)

For Israeli families, grocery bills represent a large percentage of their monthly spending.

And since food prices are typically on the rise, I thought I'd start sharing grocery deals again when I find them!

So today, I was shopping at Rami Levy online.

And here's the thing - chicken was suddenly marked down! Yes, I had started to look yesterday, but suddenly today the prices went down. Maybe this happens more often than I realized?

I don't know, but either way, here are the chicken deals I found there today:

That is:

Chicken Wings: 5 NIS/kg

Chicken Thighs and Drumsticks: 14.90 NIS/kg

Chicken Thighs: 19.90 NIS/kg

Chicken Breast: 22.90 NIS/kg

Clearly I bought the first two - they limit you to 3 kg per item, so I ordered 3kg of wings and 3 kg of thighs + drumsticks.

There were also some decent prices for produce - so we picked up potatoes, onions, and purple cabbage for 1.90 NIS/kg, tomatoes and cucumbers for 2.90 NIS/kg, and a bag of avocadoes for 4.90 NIS/kg (but since I ordered that price seems to have jumped back up to over 15 NIS/kg). It's definitely worth checking for sales on Mondays and Tuesdays at Rami Levy online.

Happy savings! Let me know what you've found!

P.S. Some credit card "clubs" let you purchase Rami Levy gift cards for lower than face value. Check if yours does too, and save extra on your groceries!

iHerb sales (and shipping saver tips)!

This post contains my iHerb referral link. You'll save money using it (even existing customers), and I may be compensated by iHerb. It won't cost you extra - but it WILL save you money!

I've promised to share iHerb deals whenever I hear about them, so none of you will miss out on the extra savings! So here's the current big news:

Right now there are several different sales going on:

  • There's a buy two, get 10% off deal going on right now, for a number of top products - good for all customers!
  • 15% off products in the Herbs category, with code HERBS15
  • New customer deal!  New customers will get an extra 10% off your first iHerb order. A total of 15% off when combined with a referral discount! Simply shop using this exclusive link, and you'll get the new customer savings loaded into your cart! (If the link doesn't load your discount into your cart, simply enter these two codes at checkout: QEJ101 and 19NEW to get these two discounts! If you've already shopped at iHerb, you can use this link to get a 5% referral discount!)

More PRO tips for shopping at iHerb:

If you use Shipping Savers, you can get really affordable shipping, even if you choose DHL Express shipping (I highly recommend this shipping method, as you can make a much larger order - I often order 10 lbs or more, it arrives really quickly, and I can choose for it to be delivered to my door! And sometimes it's as low as $2! Last time I used the free shipping option, my package got lost in transit. It was annoying, to say the least...)! You can sort for Shipping Savers on iHerb by clicking the Shipping Saver checkbox on the left-hand side of the page. Check out my Shipping Saver suggestions, too - click the link for some, read below for others!

Here are some of the things I like to buy at iHerb:

Toothbrushes - this 2 pack includes brush covers AND a small roll of floss, and is less than 10 NIS. That means less than 5 NIS for each brush plus cover and some floss! Try beating that price locally! BONUS: this is a shipping saver item, so your shipping cost will GO DOWN when you add it to your cart! Pretty Amazing deal right there!

Neosporin and Neosporin with Pain Relief - you can't get these over the counter in Israel! And this is one of the only ways to get neosporin here! It's a bit pricey, but it's a shipping saver, so it should offset some of your shipping!

SilverGel - similar products, that are great healing creams for skin, are all Rx only in Israel, and are about the same price or more. If you want to keep a silver based cream handy without needing to prove to your doctor that you need it, stock up at iHerb! AND this product is a shipping saver!

Mederma - this scar reducing cream is widely used in the USA, and is not available, as far as I know in Israel! So ordering from iHerb is a great option. Bonus: it's a shipping saver!

Palm Oil (this eco-friendly version is not available in Israel at all, and is perfect for making frosting or fudge)

Magnesium Tablets (these and many other supplements are quite pricey in Israel and iHerb is a great way to save!)

Stash Teas (I buy these when they are on sale, as the sale price comes out to less than the lowest price I can find herbal teas for locally, and these are just SO MUCH HIGHER quality than teas I can find for an affordable price!)

Vitamin D (so many people are deficient, it turns out! And my doctor prescribed a rather high dose, and what's sold here is very low dose and more expensive)

Probiotics are far less expensive from iHerb than any I've found in Israel, and they don't weigh much! Many of these are "shipping savers" - so they'll lower your shipping costs for the whole order if you add them in!

EO shower gel (we like this kid friendly all-in-one shower product that doesn't irritate our skin!)

Ricola throat drops (these work out to be only slightly less expensive than the local price, so I use them as a "filler" product, never as my "reason for buying")

Witch Hazel (it's really difficult to find witch hazel products locally, and if you love witch hazel, you'll be thrilled with iherb's price. This one is a toner with alcohol in it - some people like the alcohol in it, but if you don't, they also have plenty of no-alcohol witch hazel products)

Coffee Filters (unbleached) - I can find the #4 size locally, but I use the #2 size, and can't always find unbleached, and it's so easy to order it, rather than running around town!

Brown Rice Pasta (I only buy these when they're on sale though. Great for people who don't eat wheat! The local equivalent is more expensive unless there's an amazing sale going on)

Grapefruit Seed Extract (similar product, 1/4 of the size, cost more than twice as much at my health food store, and many people are convinced this keeps colds away,!)

Essential Oils (I use them in homemade cleaners) - for a fraction of the price here in Israel! Yes, they are real and natural (and very importantly, not an MLM)!

Soy-free Teriyaki Sauce (for my soy allergic child) - I've never seen this in Israel!

Calendula Cream (so soothing and wonderful for eczema!)

Aquaphor Ointment - impossible to buy locally! When it's not available, you might find CeraVe to be a good alternative.

I also regularly check the Specials Page to see if products I use are on sale and work out to a better deal thru iHerb during a sale, and I also occasionally will order a hard-to-find spice.

Let me know what your favorite deals are!

Don't get surprised by import taxes! If you are ordering items from overseas, be sure to familiarize yourself with the most recent personal import regulations!

Not sure if shopping at iHerb makes sense?
I shop there pretty often, as you may already know. I find it makes life easier for me - not only do they make it easy to find some "hard to find" products my family needs (like fragrance free shower products), but I save a significant amount of money on vitamins and probiotics and toothbrushes. So many products are definitely less expensive at iHerb than at my local stores, and shipping can be VERY affordable as I mentioned above.
