Food Recall! (Israel)

Today, Teva Deli announced a recall of the following product:

Shwarma Style Seitan - wheat gluten strips, 350g packages, (sold refrigerated)

The product named above (pictured to the left), with expiration date 22.08.2016, was found to be contaminated with elevated levels of e.coli bacteria.

The company has decided to recall ALL 350g packages of Shwarma Style Seitan currently in stores, with expiration dates between now and the end of August. New procedures will be implemented in order to avoid these problems in the future.

Consumers are asked NOT to eat this product. Please contact Teva Deli by email (tdservice@tevadeli.co.il) or phone (054-762-4657) to arrange for a refund/replacement or with any questions.
