It's the DEODORANT post! Save big time when you buy deodorant from Amazon instead of locally.

Amazon's prices change frequently but they're really great about letting you know if an item in your cart has changed price.

At the time of posting, all of these products qualify for free shipping to Israel with a $49 purchase, and many work out to 10 NIS or less per unit (some may be a bit more, especially specialty products like Clinical Strength deos):

Just remember - avoid VAT and other import fees by staying below the $75 tax threshold! If you do go over, you will see exactly what you'll pay in taxes at checkout. I only do this if I'm actually buying a product that costs more than $75. Otherwise, I place separate orders that each total under $75.

If you're in the USA and buying a gift for someone in Israel, please follow those guidelines, too - or be prepared to prepay all taxes and fees. You'll see them before you checkout, so don't worry about surprises. You will need to enter the recipient's ID number at checkout too, so the package can clear customs.

Well, for now the days of Amazon free shipping to Israel are behind us, and while back then I advised buying deodorant and other personal care products from them, now it's time to acknowledge that we're back to where we used to be... buying locally.
But it's really not so bad. I found a whole bunch of deals for you - assuming you're willing to buy deo or whatever it is for the next few months all at once, these prices are not like regular store prices!

Important Note: I don't know what will happen with Boxit Shipping if there is a full lockdown. I imagine there will be ways to get out packages, but I just don't know for sure what will be. I just can't find this type of product locally, and the few times I've found plain witch hazel, it's been incredibly expensive!

I'm hoping to post ebay deals here on a regular basis, that will help bring costs down.

I'm starting with one of those super important, essential toiletry items that we all need to use daily. 

Deodorant.

I buy Dove deodorant. Here in Israel, a stick of Dove deo is 50g in size. And prices vary. Last time I bought it here, I felt like I found a STEAL for 12 nis per stick! Usually it's 15 on sale, 20 at "discount" pharmacy stores, and about 28 nis if you buy it at full price at Superpharm (ahem, don't do that!!).

Enter ebay into our equations. You've got to see this!

Check out the screenshot on the left here - you can find this listing at https://ebay.to/2ncztBB -- Here's a Dove deodorant stick. It's not 50g like the ones I mentioned above. It's 2.6 oz, which comes to close to 74g - almost 50% more than the ones sold here in Israel.

And look at that price! It's about 13 nis, with free international shipping. With a household full of people who use deodorant, I feel like I am REALLY saving big time using ebay for this purchase! When they put that sign up at the store that in Europe Dove deos cost a bit over 8 nis, I was jealous. But with this ebay deal, that's about what this comes to for 50g! Awesome!
