Money Saving Tip

Do you live within walking distance of a supermarket? Do you like to take your kids on walks?

Today's tip: when you are walking your young child (in a stroller), stroll on over to your supermarket and do your shopping. You get exercise, you save gas money, and you can take advantage of short-lived sales.

Before you go, be sure to check if there are any *Hot* specials at the market and plan to focus on those!

Click here for the 4-day specials at Mega (the supermarket in walking distance of my house)!

We'll be examining it and planning some menus around some of these sale items! (and since there are convenience foods - like frozen bourekas - that my kids love but I hate to spend the money on, we'll stock up on those for busy days! Oh and Phyllo dough for those recipes I want to try... and baguettes. Who can guess what tonight's dinner will be?!)
