I personally rotate where I shop online, I often shop at Groo or Wallashops... but for some things, I just have to turn to Amazon - either for products that aren't available locally or the markup is too high. And, with Amazon, you'll often get free shipping, and you'll always know UP FRONT if you have to pay any extra fees.
Amazon's prices change frequently but they're really great about letting you know if an item in your cart has changed price.
I love to check for random things I want or need to buy and compare with local prices.
Today I'm having that debate about bedding. When the mattress is giving out, do you buy a new one (or 5), or do you try to eke a bit more life out of them with a mattress topper?
Well, I haven't yet looked beyond the actual cash I'd need to shell out, so I'm really tempted to try a mattress topper.
And believe it or not, today, Amazon has a number of them for less than $75 and with a free shipping option!
Here are a few that I found:
Just remember - avoid VAT and other import fees by staying below the $75 tax threshold for any single order! If you do go over, you will see exactly what you'll pay in taxes at checkout. I only do this if I'm actually buying a product that costs more than $75. Otherwise, I place separate orders that each total under $75.
If you're in the USA and buying a gift for someone in Israel, please follow those guidelines, too - or be prepared to prepay all taxes and fees. You'll see them before you checkout, so don't worry about surprises. You will need to enter the recipient's ID number at checkout too, so the package can clear customs.
