I started this site because so many of the frugal food sites I love are just jam-packed with recipes that are decidedly un-kosher. And lots of other frugal living sites are extremely religious, and not in a Jewish way. And that just wasn’t working for me. I hope that I can share some ways to be frugal AND kosher. Thanks for the heads up- I looked at the site but was a bit overwhelmed. What products (food or non-food) do you think are worth buying there? We eat a lot of oatmeal, so I'll have to compare prices, and I was happy to see Kashi cereals, which I really miss from the US. I would definitely think about ordering several boxes! Like I said, the site has so much stuff on it I really didn't know where to begin- what do you usually order from there?
ReplyDeleteJust be aware that this free shipping deal has a 4 lb weight limit! I'm kind of an eclectic iherb orderer. At times I've ordered cereal, but more often I order things like soaps (I have very sensitive skin), shampoo, deodorant, dish detergent (I'm allergic to every one I've tried in Israel), dishwasher detergent, baking powder, coffee beans, coconut oil, and various specialty products I crave from time to time....
