Food Recall (Israel) - Smoked Salmon

Today's recall is, you guessed, smoked salmon! (Surprised? I'm not! These smoked fish recalls always come in waves. I wonder if they spot check all the smoked salmon companies in the same few weeks, and not the rest of the year... just speculating, I have no idea what really goes on behind the scenes!)

Here are the details of the recall:

Company: IST importers (Flagman Seafood, LLC, Ukraine)
Name of the Product: Frozen Sliced Smoked Salmon Fillet
Package Sizes: 100g, 500g, 1000g (1kg)
Production Date: 21 December 2016
Expiration Date: 15 December 2017

The product is being recalled because it tested positive for Listeria contamination.

If you have purchased a product affected by this recall, please return it to the store where purchased. DO NOT USE IT.

If you have any questions, please contact the importer via email at istservice2017@gmail.com, or by telephone at 052-731-1778
