Money Saving Tips: Discount tickets
We all know that "Doing Something" in Israel can cost a pretty penny. Especially for any families or groups that have a significant number of people (i.e. more than three, usually).
So I thought you should know that sometimes there are ways to save, even if you can't always get free admission (see this year's list of Free Attractions here!)
Here are some tips I've found.
1. Check Groupon and other discounters for special deals
2. Check your destination's website for printable coupons
3. Check if advance purchase will save you money
(Hint: It will at Madatech in Haifa!)
4. Use apps like Cuponofesh to get access to coupons on the go!
5. Get a discount membership to the National Parks (usually worth it if you will visit more than 3 parks in one year, in some cases maybe fewer)
(Some old photos of "doing things")
Good luck finding deals - let us know if you found any great ones!
Have fun on your outings!

Free Museums and Attractions for Pesach 2016
UPDATH
PLEASE SEE THE NEW LIST FOR PESACH 2016 (CLICK HERE)!!!
The word on the street is that this year's list of free attractions is the same as last year's list. I have been trying to get some sort of official confirmation of that - but have not been able to. Everyone else has linked to a ynet article from 2015 when posting about this year's free attractions.
So I am now reposting last year's list, with many links to sites in English that will make it easier for you to get the info you need. IF THE LIST CHANGES I will update this post immediately!
This year, chol Hamoed is April 24-28. Most sites will close early on erev chag, April 28.
*Please note that I put a lot of effort into this post, tracking down websites in English for your convenience. I know the Bank Hapoalim info is available to the public in Hebrew, but this blog post has added benefits for the English speaking community. Because it was so much work, I request that if you plan to share this info, you link back to my site. Thank you for this common courtesy.
Bank Hapoalim does this wonderful service for the country: They sponsor free attractions all around the country for Chol Hamoed, and the country loves it!
