Hatikvah Smoked Fish announced a major recall, due to the presence of listeria in some of their products (particularly Herring (מטיאס) fillets in oil and Herring Provencal, in 300g packages with expiration dates of 30.6.16 and 11.7.16).
In order to assure public safety, the company is recalling ALL packages of Herring Provencale and Herring Fillets in oil that are currently on stores shelves, with all expiration dates through 12.7.16
This includes those packaged under the "DeliDag" brand and "Hatikvah Smoked Fish" brand.
Consumers are asked NOT to eat these products. Please return them to the store where purchased for a refund/store credit.
The Ministry of Health has announced a recall of the following product, due to possible listeria contamination:
"Delidag" brand smoked salmon, 100g packages, barcode 7290008340618
Production dates of 26.5.13 and 27.5.13, with expiration dates of 26.6.13 and 27.6.13
Consumers who have purchased this product are advised not to eat it, and should call 1-800-40-50-40 to arrange a refund or replacement.
Following last week's smoked salmon recall, there is a new, expanded recall.
Sterling brand smoked salmon (frozen) 100g packages with barcode 7290003821754
200g packages with barcode 7290003821761
This applies to production dates between 24.4.2013 and 25.5.2013
Delidag brand smoked salmon (refrigerated) 100g packages with barcode 7290008340618
This is for all packages with production dates between 3.5.2013 and 12.5.2013
These products may be contaminated with listeria.
Please call 1-800-50-40-50 to speak with a customer service representative if you have any of these products, in order to arrange a refund/replacement.
