Harder to be frugal?

I just read that the price of produce is expected to go up - WAY UP - in the next few days, and stay that way for at least a few weeks. Apparently our cold spell is causing a farming crisis - the produce is not ripening as quickly as usual!

You can read more about this here.

So - what are all of use frugal shoppers without access to a shuk about to close (where you can get low price produce without fail, trust me!) - going to do?

How will you feed the family while sticking to your budget?

I'm going to have to mull this one over a bit.

Ideas welcome!

    1. Thanks Henya! Just please watch out for BPA-lined cans. I'm afraid of them all, so I just don't buy cans...
